2.About Einstein
His dad named Hermann was a salesman and an engineer who with his mother Pauline raised Albert.
In 1880 his family moved to Munich where he attended a Catholic elementary school and was a top student.
In 1894, when Albert was 15, his dad’s company failed and in search of business they moved to Italy.
In 1895, he left high school to join his family in Pavia.
3.More Facts About Einstein
Einstein had two marriages in his life having 2 boys and 1 girl.
In 1922 he was awarded the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics.
In 1999, Albert was named the Person of the Century by Time magazine.
The chemical element number 99, einsteinium was named after him.
He died on April 17th, 1955 of internal bleeding at the age of 76.
His brain was removed before he was cremated by pathologist Thomas Stoltz without any permission by the family to maybe one day find out why he was so smart.
4.General Relativity
Imagine a bowling ball resting on a trampoline. While the ball is resting, an indentation is being formed into the trampoline. In general relativity, a massive object like the Earth sits in space and both space and time must curve around it which creates an indentation in the universe just like a bowling ball on a trampoline.
5.General Relativity 2
Now imagine a golf ball being rolled onto the trampoline. The golf ball would head toward the bowling ball and get caught in the indentation and crash into it. This can relate to how the moon come into orbit around the Earth.
6.E=MC²
Energy equals mass multiplied by the speed of light squared. This formula shows that a small amount of matter contains a gigantic amount of energy. This is used to explain the energy produced in nuclear fusion (stars) and fission (power plants)
